Jason has been involved in music for over 40 years.  He studied Jazz performance at the University of North Texas and Music Technology at NYU.  He has owned and operated recording studios, booking agencies, music stores, a live sound company, and has played drums and guitar in multiple bands over the years.  A father of two young daughters, he loves to help develop young students and start them down their path of musical exploration.

Kevin Hrubos 

Teaches: Clarinet, Guitar, Piano, Saxophone, Ukulele, Voice

Kevin is a 2011 graduate of Rowan University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in K-12 Music Education. He began his teaching career in Middle Township School District teaching K-5 general music. In 2016, he began teaching in Egg Harbor Township School District. There he was responsible for teaching guitar ensemble at EHT High School and Eagle Academy, K-3 general music/chorus at Swift School, and instrumental band lessons at Miller School. In 2020, he started teaching PreK-4 general music and chorus at Newell Elementary in Upper Freehold Regional School District, where he currently teaches. Kevin has performed in various ensembles/groups as a multi-instrumentalist. Kevin has performed as a featured clarinet soloist after winning the Rowan Orchestra Soloists Competition in 2009. He has performed with other ensembles including the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble and the At-lantic Pops on clarinet and saxophone. Kevin has performed as a guitarist for the acoustic trio "Ket-tle Three”. He currently plays saxophone with the "Lenny Davis Band" in the Toms River area and plays keyboard/synthesizer for "Karate Garage", a South Jersey area cover band.
